Pony Camp September 13 - 17, 2010 | This fun five days of PonyPlay, learning, and practice prior to PonyPlay Weekend! This is a fun time, no formal teaching and no competition, the PonyGirl and PonyBoy show / competion will be on the Sunday of PonyPlay Weekend | Dulca Scenes, Inc. | Will be hosting the 4rd Annual PonyPlay Camp and 8th Annual PonyPlay Weekend at 'The Farm' in South Central KY | | PonyPlay Camp allows you to learn, practice, play, and interact in a relaxed setting. It's a perfect chance to practice and be in top shape for PonyPlay show on Sunday. | | People have traveled from all over the USA to participate in pony events at 'The Farm'! Ponies can attend without a trainer, handler, groom or owner. Likewise grooms, handlers, owners, and trainers are welcome to attend without a pony. RSVP and advance registration required for PP Camp .e-mail your RSVP to: dulca@duo-county.com Mention PP Camp in the subject line and the number of people your RSVP is for. Confirmation of your RSVP will be e-mailed along with the P.O. Box your registration (donation) should be mailed to. You can register for one to all five days or just PP Weekend. When your registration is received confirmation of receipt, detailed directions to 'The Farm', and our phone number will be e-mailed back. PP Camp, Sept. 13 - 17, 2010, gives you up to 5 days to learn more about and try out; owning, grooming, handling, training, riding, and driving a human pony before PP Weekend begins on Fri. Participants will be responsible for their own meals. A full kitchen is available. A tentative schedule is posted below. | Cost | PonyPlay Camp: EARLY discounted registration (postmarked by Aug. 15, 2010) for PonyPlay Camp is $15 Per Person Per Day (PPPD) indoors and only $10.00 PPPD dry camping or for those staying in area motels. Full price registration begins Mon., Aug. 15, 2010 is $25 PPPD indoors or $20 PPPD for camping or if staying off premises. Registration for PonyPlay Camp closes Sept. 9, 2010. | Photography | Pictures (of yourself) will ONLY be allowed during PonyPlay Camp if approved and taken by a representative of Dulca Scenes, Inc. i.e. Doña, Lady Robin, or Robert. If more than one person wishes to be in a photo the picture still MUST be taken by a representative of Dulca Scenes, Inc. | Cancellations - Refunds | Your registration is a donation to Dulca Scenes, Inc.. If you must cancel for medical reasons, cancellation is subject to the following limitation(s): a. A refund is limited to one person regardless if others registered with you. b. If you must cancel and do so by Aug. 15, 2010 your registration will be returned less $5.00. c. If you must cancel and do so by Sept. 1, 2010 all but $20 (due to food planning) will be refunded. d. After Sept. 1, 2010 no money can/will be refunded. Please consider allowing Dulca Scenes, Inc. to retain your registration as a donation. Dulca Scenes, Inc. is an approved 501 - C3. Donations can be claimed on your taxes to the extent allowed under IRS regulations. Should you not be able to attend, your full registration should qualify as a donation. | Accommodations | Inside space is available on a 'first come' basis, includes: furnished apartment, there are several beds, inflatable mattresses, and floor space, Outside space includes acres of ground for tenting plus 2 RV parking spaces. There are affordable motels within 6-12 miles of 'The Farm'. Upon request a list will be provided with your registration confirmation. Those staying at 'The Farm' can enjoy the dungeon, medical room, and fields 'n woods. We have four pony carts. You are welcome to bring yours. | Preliminary - Tentaive PonyPlay Camp Schedule (can and will be adjusted to fit-suit those attending) | Mon.: Enjoy ponyplay videos, discuss anything and everything about ponyplay plus get to know one another (afternoon & evening). Tues: The importance of grooming, preparation, putting tack on and 'pony space' Wed.: Lunging and long lining as they apply to dressage, jumping and cross-country Thurs: Cart pulling and various forms of riding as they apply to dressage, jumping and cross-country. Preparations for PP Weekend Fri.: Bringing it all together for the groom, handler, trainer, and pony. Help set up for PP Weekend There will be plenty of time to practice, romp, get help from others, plus help others. |
